Ducati Monster Art Scholarship

Ducati Motor Holding and the Accademy of Arts in Bologna sponsor a design competition for the motorcycle Ducati Monster plastic parts (tank, fender, tail, and windshield) decoration.                                                                                                         There are three scholarships in total for the accademic year 2010-2011.

Participation is open to all students at the Accademy of Arts in Bologna, all the students are encouraged to participate disguarding year, area of studies, and dipartment.

Participating is simple

The student can use any means and techniques to make the design, the final piece can be given in a hard copy or as a digital file.
The student must use the different templates/outlines of the four plastic parts of the Ducati Monster motorcycle as base for the design, then the student must print the final pieces or send them in an electronic file.
All the materials needed to participate are attached and can be downloaded from this page.

Winner Designs

The first three designs will receive a full scholarship to cover all tuition expences for the next accadamic year 2010 - 2011. If the students is graduating this year, the money will be given to him/her.
The first five designs will be applied to real motorcycles during the scholarship ceremony and in the Ducati Monster exhibitions.
The first 20 designs will be displayed at the Accademy of Arts in Bologna from the ceremony day and left in exhibition for a month.

Delivering the Designs

The templates (in A3 dimension, PDF format) must be e-mailed to competition@design-center.it, under the title "Ducati Monster Art," delivered by hand (if realized in a hard copy) in an A3 format to the office of the Design Center of Bologna. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 1:00pm.

Applying

The student will become an applicant by downloading, filling out, and attaching the scholarship application form to the designs.

Deadlline

The last day to apply is Sunday, January 10th 2010 at 1:00pm.
